Discover Seignosse on a campsite
Seignosse, nestling on the south coast of the Landes in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, is just a stone's throw from Hossegor and Capbreton. With its immense beaches, famous surf spots and pine forest, this charming seaside resort attracts tourists like a magnet.
Just 20 minutes away by car, our 4-star campsite near Seignosse welcomes you to a calm, unspoilt environment. We offer pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as comfortable mobile homes and gîtes.
Visiting Seignosse: the must-sees
Seignosse is first and foremost a typical Landes village, with its half-timbered houses, wash-house, inn, small shops and craft boutiques. At the fronton or the Parc des Sports, Basque pelota demonstrations and tournaments regularly enliven the little Landes town. People also come here to enjoy the beach, stroll between forest and ocean or spend a memorable day in the largest water park in the Landes.

The beaches of Seignosse
At Seignosse, 6 km of beach await you. Along with Biarritz and Hossegor, Seignosse is one of the historic birthplaces of surfing in Europe. In summer, swimming is supervised. Bathers and surfers share the ocean and its rollers.
- Penon beach: the most central and liveliest beach in Seignosse, easy to get to and right next to the shops in the town centre. Don't miss the ‘promenade sur la Dune’ (10 mins), which offers unparalleled views of the ocean and the Pyrenees on a clear day.
- Estagnots beach: this is Seignosse's most popular beach. There's a large car park at the top of the dune, surf schools, food and drink at the cabane des Estagnots, as well as showers and toilets.
- La plage des Casernes: this is the wildest beach in Seignosse, bordered by dunes on the edge of the forest. But this beach has to be earned! It's about a 10-minute walk from the car park. There's a surf school and a little straw hut on site.
- Plage des Bourdaines: this is Seignosse's most secret and quietest beach. It is located slightly away from the town centre, in a residential area. There are several surf schools and a beach bar/restaurant to round off the day.

The Seignosse market
In Seignosse, the market is one of the must-do activities. Stroll between the colourful stalls and fill your basket with good things to eat. On the menu: fruit and vegetables, fish and seafood, foie gras, honey, olives, cheeses, ready-made meals, as well as ready-to-wear clothes, hats, jewellery and other holiday souvenirs.
- Seignosse Bourg market: every Wednesday, all year round, under the covered market hall near the town hall in Seignosse Bourg.
- Seasonal market: in July and August, Place Gentille and Avenue Chambrelent, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings.
- Night market: every Saturday evening in summer, at Seignosse Océan, from 6pm to 11pm.
Atlantic Park, the largest water park in the Landes region
For a fun day out with the family, head to Atlantic Park, the largest water park in the Landes. The aquapark offers a tailor-made programme for families: 3,000m2 of heated pools, thrilling slides, games for toddlers and a relaxation area with deckchairs for parents. For more information, visit the Atlantic Parc website.

The White Pond and the Black Pond
These two ponds, designed for walks, offer a peaceful alternative to the hustle and bustle of the beaches. Located between Seignosse and Tosse to the south, and Soustons to the north, the Étang Blanc offers a moment of calm and serenity. You can fish for pike, zander and other predators. With a bit of luck and binoculars, you might spot a purple heron or a white stilt. The Étang Noir is a listed nature reserve. A kilometre-long footbridge loops through the reserve and its habitats: peat bogs, wet meadows, pine and oak forests. In summer, guided tours are offered by enthusiastic naturalists.
Way-marked trails in the forest
With 40km of signposted trails, Seignosse is a paradise for walkers and lovers of unspoilt nature. On the programme: 6 circuits, from 3 km to 10 km, for a short stroll with the kids or a long, sporty hike.
- The ‘Pink Beach Trail’ crosses the coastal forest to reach the Chemin des Casernes (4.4 km).
- The ‘Yellow Golf Circuit’ plunges straight into the Landes forest. From tucs to valleys, you can admire the golfers on one of the most spectacular ‘holes’ (7.5 km).
- In July and August, take a guided nature tour with a forest ranger, who will be on hand every Wednesday to show you around the coastal dune and/or the coastal forest.

The Seignosse golf course, an exceptional course
Golf enthusiasts take note! The Golf de Seignosse is an international benchmark, renowned for its technical course and spectacular scenery. But it's above all its legendary hole 18, a Par 6 nicknamed the ‘devil's hole’, that makes its reputation. This demanding final round will test even the most experienced of golfers.
