The Camping de la Côte is situated in Messanges, a small village nestled amid beautiful natural surroundings... Cycle paths and hiking routes abound to help you explore its forest, lakes, wild beach and the vines which produce ‘Vin de Sable’ wines.
A 5-minute bike ride away, Vieux Boucau Port d’Albret is a vibrant village with its Landes bull-running events and its fronton where the ballgame pelote Basque is played. A large market is held daily during the tourist season. And then, you can go for a walk or bike ride round its salt lake or simply have a swim.
The Courant d’Huchet nature reserve extends across these two regions and can be explored on foot by following the various footpaths. Alternatively, at the Lac de Léon, you will find a boatman who will take you out to discover the region’s exceptional flora by boat.
